sporadic Creutzfeldt Jakob Disease (sCJD) is Alzheimers on fast forward.

Scientists have identified this strain of rapidly progressive Creutzfeldt Jakob/Alzheimers prion disease as “rpAD”

Amyloid plaques, neurofibrillary tangles, synaptic loss, and cell death are the most striking features of the Alzheimer’s brain when it is viewed under the microscope after death. Amyloid plaques, neurofibrillary tangles, synaptic loss, and cell death are also found in sCJD brains after death.
